Vernon Kay Stays Awkwardly Quiet during Secret Messages with Ex Chat

And during Monday's installment of This Morning, Vernon Kay, 47, stayed silent as a phone caller identified as Gayle was asking her what she should do following finding her husband's secretly texting an ex.
After he and co-host Josie Gibson asked for clarification on details from the female caller, Vernon stayed notably stum on the topic - with viewers taking to Twitter in response to the segment.
Awkward: Vernon Kay, 47, remained awkwardly silent as Gayle was a caller who was asked what she should do about her husband's secretly messaging her ex.
Gayle called in to get advice from Rosie Green, explaining that she has been married to her husband for 18 years and found out last week that two-and-a half years ago he rekindled a relationship with a former lover.
She told me that he'd spoken to her ex behind her back , and that he'd gotten together with her twice. I was extremely sick at the time.

'Nothing happened. He's very insincere and claims it was just a group of friends getting together and that I - reading through the texts and the emails - was more than that. It's not something I can accept.
Vernon asked: "And this was someone who he was seeing? Perhaps an ex-partner?" Sexting while Josie added that you were going through chemotherapy at the time was that right?' with Gayle responding 'yes' to both questions.

As Rosie gave her advice and Josie shook her head in displeasure at her husband's wife, Vernon didn't get involved in the rest of the conversation and displayed little emotion.

In the year 2010 Vernon - who is married to Strictly host Tess Daly since 2013 - was caught sexting glamour model Rhian Sugden.
Rhian was followed by the TV star via text messages, Twitter and emails for four years. Rhian later claimed that he tried to establish an intimate relationship with her in a hotel room.
She assured Tessa that they had never met on their own, and that it was just a casual friendship and flirty messages.
Rhian concluded with offering her 'sincerest apologies' and wishing the both of them a happy and prosperous the future.
